With less than ten years in the boat manufacturing industry, the makers of Triton boats definitely know what makes a great boat. Aside from the sleek and sophisticated look of Triton boats, the boats' inner qualities are what set them apart from other boats in the market.

Triton boats are products of one of the most advanced design, materials and construction methods and safety engineering in the fishing boat industry. For one, Triton uses aircraft technology for its hull construction meaning there is no single wood used in a Triton boat.
Most fiberglass fishing boats would still use wood in key areas such as the stringer system, transom, deck and floor. But not Triton. The company's wood-free approach to boat building allows it to offer lifetime warranty for Triton hulls because there will be no rotting wood to worry about. Boat builders know too well that wood can rot over time and can cause structural damage on the boat. This is true even in woods that are thoroughly treated for the purpose.

Instead of using wood, Triton employs Tri-Core composite construction.  Tri-Core, a high-tech, super-strong polyurethane core material used in high performance aircraft, can never rot, bonds chemically with fiberglass, and is unaffected by climate changes. In addition, structural tests show Tri-Core to be lighter than wood, yet stronger than most wood/fiberglass laminates.

Triton boats also feature hand-laid quality constructions and AME 1000 resin for greater strength and uniformity. Although it is much faster to use chopper guns to spray material into the hull, Triton insists on the fail-safe way of a hand-lay finish for every Triton hull.
Triton hand-lays fiberglass on the three primary components in the construction of a boat, namely: the hull, stringer and deck. They call this system uni-body construction, which allows all three components to be bonded together in place, forming a solid singular unit.
With unibody construction, the entire boat moves as a single unit, resulting in lesser vibration when the boat is under power.

Another strong differentiator of Triton boats is the company's stringer system. Other boat brand use wood stringers encapsulated in fiberglass but Triton uses a one piece composite and fiberglass stringer system. This gives the boats greater strength and rigidity.
With Triton's stringer system, there are two braces running from bow to stern and seven cross-members connecting port to starboard. This design is the secret why a Triton boat is extremely rigid and almost does not encounter deck and hull twisting.

Aside from the above features, Triton boats also have full-width transoms which distributes the weight of the boat's outboard over a much wider area, allowing the boat to absorb stress more effectively. The decks of Triton boats are also designed for maximum durability.
Putting safety as its priority, Triton makes sure that its boats meets, if not exceeds, safety standards of authorities such as the  US Coast Guard, National Marine Manufacturers Association, and American Boat and Yacht Council. Triton puts its boats to rigorous tank and location tests to guarantee that it meets flotation standards.
