Fantasy Custom Yachts maintain one of the cleanest and most organized factories in Kentucky, which is known as the houseboat capital of the world. Aside from the team that works on the boat’s construction of the boat, there is also a dedicated group of people to take care of after sales service.
Since its inception, over 200 Fantasy Custom Yachts have already been built and sold to satisfied clients. This number is a big leap from the 44 houseboats it has initially made on its first year.
Fantasy Custom Yachts has 135 employees and 75,000 square feet of manufacturing area, with plan of further expansion. Its owner John Sturgill said the continued expansion is a response to the steady interest for deluxe houseboats among the upscale market.
"The megabucks man is still with us…The guys with a lot of money still have a lot money and they're buying," Sturgill was quoted saying in an interview with Forbes.com.
Fantasy Custom Yachts largest houseboat it has ever delivered to a client to date is the 130-feet long Imagination is. Valued at $1 million, Imagination has 2,900 square feet of living space consisting of three bedroom suites plus captain and crew quarters, two living rooms, a flat-screen TV, a pool table and a helipad on the upper deck.
Fantasy Customs Yachts continue to see a rosy future for its custom-built houseboats for as long as there are people who are ready to pay a premium to own a floating mansion where they can see beautiful sunsets out their windows and travel in comfort and privacy to their favorite destinations with their family and friends.
